The work is the title.
We don't hire to fill seats and we don't promote into management. Every person on every engagement is a working engineer. The principal scoping the project is the principal building it.

About
VerITech Solutions is a three-person cloud consultancy based in Lisbon. We do Terraform foundations, multi-cloud architecture, and FinOps. Every engagement is senior-only — no juniors, no offshore handoffs, no consulting pyramid.
The story
VerITech Solutions started because we kept seeing the same shape of engagement go sideways. A consultancy lands a six-month contract. They send a principal to scope it, then back-fill the delivery with two offshore engineers and a project manager. By month three, the client's own team has stopped being involved. By month six, there's a 90-page deliverable and a piece of infrastructure nobody on the client side actually understands.
The work is technically correct. It's also useless six months later, because the people who would have to operate it weren't in the room when the decisions were made.
We wanted to find out whether a small team that staffed every engagement senior, kept the client's engineers in the work, and treated hand-off as the deliverable could be a viable business. It turned out it could.
We're three engineers based in Lisbon. We pick a small number of engagements a year and we deliver them ourselves. That's the whole firm.
How we work
01 / Craft
We don't hire to fill seats and we don't promote into management. Every person on every engagement is a working engineer. The principal scoping the project is the principal building it.
02 / Honesty
Our deliverables are documents people read on the first try. If we can't explain a decision in two paragraphs, we haven't finished thinking about it.
03 / Restraint
We turn down work that doesn't fit. A small team doing five projects well is a better firm than a large team doing fifty acceptably.
04 / Ownership
The day we leave, your team owns the code, the state, the runbooks, and the muscle memory. If we have to come back to keep the lights on, we didn't finish the engagement.
The team
Principal Engineer · IaC
Eight years on Terraform, mostly in regulated industries. Built the foundation libraries we still use today.
LinkedInPrincipal Engineer · FinOps
Former finance engineer. Spent four years inside Stripe's cloud platform team. Cost as a deliverable is his hill.
LinkedInSenior Engineer · Platform
Kubernetes since 1.4. Comfortable across EKS, GKE, AKS — and the one self-managed cluster we still don't recommend.
LinkedInTimeline
Two engineers, one Lisbon office, a strong opinion about how cloud engagements should be staffed.
Healthcare SaaS across EU + LATAM. The work that taught us the regional-foundation module pattern we still use.
Brought Bruno in to lead it. The 20–40% number on the homepage is the actual range we've delivered since.
Steady at three to four people. Hiring slowly. Most clients come through references from previous clients.
We'll tell you whether we're the right fit inside the first ten minutes.
