You'd join a team of three. Your first month is shadowing two active engagements and reviewing the module library; your second month is owning a workstream on a new engagement under one of the principals. From month three onward you scope and deliver work as the senior on the engagement.
The work is mostly Terraform — module design, state migrations, GitOps workflows — with regular detours into Kubernetes, FinOps audits, and architecture reviews. The bias is depth over breadth: we'd rather you be excellent across AWS and competent on GCP than mediocre across all three clouds.
Compensation is a market-rate base plus a percentage of engagement margin. We don't do equity (we're not on that trajectory) and we don't do title inflation. The title is the work.
